According to the Alzheimer’s Research Trust 163,000 new cases of dementia occur in England and Wales each year. As a result they have welcomed government plans to train all NHS GPs in England to spot the early symptoms of dementia. The Trust eagerly awaits the details of the practical aspects which will make the plans a reality.
Two million people who have a disability use the Blue Badge Scheme which allows specialised parking facilities for people with disabilities. The permit, currently costing £2.00, looks like it will rise in cost under the government's Blue Badge Strategy for England.
The government says that the current charges do not cover the administration costs involved with the current scheme and therefore, the rise, which will be left to individual councils, could be different depending on where an application for the Blue Badge is made. Shadow Disability Minister Mark Harper has said that the government itself had predicted the cost could rise to more than £20.

Nationwide there are volunteer collectors who will take a wide range of your obsolete tools such as sewing machines, carpentry tools, electric tools, spanners, tool belts, etc, the list is long and can be seen on the charity website: http://www.twam.co.uk

Answer : There are several disability web sites which can help but one you may like to try first is The Camping and Caravan Club site at: http://www.campingandcaravanningclub.co.uk
For several years the Club has had an on-going program of improvements to ensure that all their sites are designed for accessibility for people with a disability. The Club has a list of sites and there are clear symbols to show what is available at each site; e.g. facilities for wheelchair users, level access showers, equipment, etc.
