The CRB website address has now moved to the Home Office website at http://www.crb.homeoffice.gov.uk the documentation that is currently in circulation will have the old website details but for the near future, re-direction from the old site will be automatic.
A majority of people express a wish to die at home but 60% of people currently die in an acute hospital bed.

A survey carried out by Nottingham University NHS Trust over a five year period has shown that people who walk faster are less likely to die than slow walkers. The survey involved 3,208 relatively fit elderly people at the beginning of the project.

A mobile Post Office is a modern, fully equipped van offering Post Office services. There are more than 168 villages currently visited by a Mobile branch across the UK today. These communities are visited at set times and days each week, and the majority of Post Office products and services are available through the Mobile service. "I am a disabled 22 year old man and would like to learn to drive but cannot afford the cost of lessons. Are there any grants available to help with the cost?"
Answer : Motability may be able to offer financial help towards the cost of a suitable car, adaptations, driving lessons or a Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle. During 2007/08, grants were awarded totaling over £18 million to help over 5,000 customers with their mobility needs.
If you are planning to have a Motability vehicle you have to arrange to apply for a grant of driving lessons before putting in an application for a vehicle.
