The discussions will continue with the Finnish Labour Minister, Tarja Filatov saying that during the Finnish Presidency, they would continue to try and find a compromise in this working time dispute.

If they are providing in excess of 35 hours per week then an entitlement of £46.95 per week can be claimed as the Carers Allowance. However, claiming the Allowance means Carers have to make sure that they comply with the Rules which limit earnings to less than £84.00per week. In the UK, 850,000 people are injured or made ill as a result of their job. 25,000 people are forced to give up work as a result of a work-related in jury or illness. Only 10 percent will get any form of compensation or state. Britain pays out much less in civil compensation as a proportion of it’s GDP than any other major European country apart from Denmark.
