Able Community Care is proud of the high standards we set ourselves in the delivery of our Care Services. We are regulated and inspected by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
The progress of every Client is closely monitored and Carers are a vital part of the monitoring team. At the end of each placement, Carers are required to advise the Client's Care Manager of any changes in the Client's situation or any changes that they anticipate may happen.
Carers are also asked at various times to complete and return Assessment Forms covering the aspects of care they are currently involved with for their Client.
Carers are requested to complete a Daily Record Book for the Client they are working with. Any changes in the condition of the Client at any time should be reported to the Care Manager without delay. Carers may at times be required to attend a review meeting of the Client's needs.
Clients will also be contacted on a regular basis (either by phone or letter) and given an opportunity to discuss their care and whether it is reaching the standard they require.
Each year we send out Customer Satisfaction Surveys to all our Clients and the results are published on this website.
Finally we also have a clear and methodical complaints procedure which is covered in detail in our Handbook of Policies and Procedures for Clients and Carers.
