Your item will be advertised on our Second Hand Store Webpage and in our gazette, which is published every two months.

Our website currently gets approximately 1,800 highly targetted unique visitors each month, from organic search engine results and from our substantial network of clients and carers.

Each visitor browses between five and six pages on average, which means that they're interested in our site's content and therefore may be more likely to respond to your advert.

For each advert placed on our Second Hand Store page, our blog will also be updated so that all of our RSS subscribers will immediately be alerted to the new entry on the Second Hand Store page.

Bi-Monthly Gazette

Additionally, your advert for your second hand disability equipment will be included with our Gazette (paper/hard copy) which is published every two months and sent to approximately 1,500 subscribers. Our readers are people who have disabilities, are elderly, their carers and family members, or people who are involved in the field of care.

Costs

The cost to advertise your second hand disability aids and equipment is as follows:

£10.00 + VAT = £11.50 to advertise an item worth up to £50.00
£20.00 + VAT = £23.00 to advertise an item worth between £50.01 and £100.00
£30.00 + VAT = £34.50 to advertise an item worth between £100.01 and £250.00
£40.00 + VAT = £46.00 to advertise an item worth between £250.01 and £500.00
£50.00 + VAT = £57.50 to advertise an item worth over £500.00.

To Place Your Advert...

Send us a description of your item and provide details including:

The type of equipment
Manufacturer
The date the item was bought as new / age of the item.
The last date maintenance was carried out (if applicable)
Any other relevant details or specifications
Brochure details or an image of the item if possible.

Tell us the price you are asking, your telephone number and address. Your item will be advertised giving our telephone contact number and the general location of where you live (to the nearest city or town).

Lastly, please send us a cheque made out to Able Community Care for the correct amount for the item you wish to advertise. Mail to: Able Community Care, The Old Parish Rooms, Whitlingham Lane, Trowse, Norwich NR14 8TZ.
